What does Get-StatType do?

The Get-StatType cmdlet retrieves the available metrics for some, but not all, vSphere objects.

The vSphere objects that are covered are VirtualMachine, VMHost, Cluster and ResourcePool.

$esx = Get-VMHost | select -First 1
Get-StatType -Entity $esx

The metrics displayed are those that are available for Historical Interval 4. The reason is because we didn’t provide a Start or Finish parameter.
